Built by Racers. Proven Across Industries. Trusted by Engineers.

Founded to Solve Real Challenges

Our company didn’t start in a boardroom. Our humble roots took hold in a garage, with one machine and a race car driver.

Founder Ronnie Johncox understood not only the pressures of a demanding industry, but just how critical performance, technical capability, and high quality are when it comes to mission-critical parts – and he started Technique in 1991 as an answer to companies in demanding industries looking for complex part suppliers who understand those challenges.

Today, Technique is a vertically-integrated manufacturing partner, delivering complex, mission-critical parts and assemblies with industry-leading speed.

The Racing and Manufacturing Connection

Technique Founder Ronnie Johncox is a former professional IndyCar driver who competed for 15 years at the highest levels of motorsports.

Ronnie witnessed firsthand what’s at stake when performance is everything. Parts must be precise, high quality, and on time – and failure simply isn’t an option.

When Ronnie founded Technique, that mindset became the foundation for the company’s mission: to deliver mission-critical parts with industry-leading speed and technical capabilities, solving our customers’ biggest challenges.

“What sets Technique apart is that we have the technical capability to handle high complexity parts and deliver on an industry-leading timeline. Not many manufacturers will quote part programs with such rigorous parameters but we will, and that’s what our customers love about us.”

- Ronnie Johncox, Founder

We’re fast because we can be, and we’ve spent decades delivering exceptional performance – even when the stakes are at their highest.

A Winning Roster

Since 2007, Technique has supplied components to top racing teams across NASCAR and motorsports. In 2020, Technique won the bid to manufacture the chassis for the NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen car, becoming the sole chassis manufacturer for every Cup team.

The first units were delivered in 2021, and since that time, 80% of NASCAR teams have used Technique components, and every NASCAR Cup Championship team has relied on Technique-built parts.

Our Entrepreneurial Spirit

We’re proud to cultivate an entrepreneurial culture that values team empowerment, personal accountability, and collective expertise. We don’t cut corners or sacrifice quality to meet timelines – we rely instead on cutting-edge technology and expert skill sets to advance our capabilities.

Our hands-on, collaborative approach lets our customers know we are deeply invested in their success. We adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and deliver results – even when timelines are tight and complexity is high.

Performance-Driven for the Future

In 2025, Technique partnered with Angeles Equity Partners, a move that reinforced our long-term growth strategy while preserving the leadership and culture that built our success and reputation.

Ronnie Johncox continues to lead the company, and we maintain the same performance-driven mindset in everything we do.

With expanded resources and the same relentless focus on execution, Technique is positioned to support even more complex, high-stakes programs across demanding industries.
